About the event

The LAFA Heritage Honours 2025 is a landmark cultural celebration honoring Ghana's most influential film icons. The 2025 edition pays tribute to the extraordinary life and legacy of Kwaw Ansah, an acclaimed filmmaker and cultural pioneer. Organized by La Foundation for the Arts (LAFA), the event will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the LAFA Auditorium. It will feature a red-carpet reception, a Kwaw Ansah Exhibition, award presentations, performances, and dialogues on Ghanaian cinema.
